Eat Well offers $100 per month for fruits, vegetables, and beans to eligible WellCare members.
You will receive a card in the mail from Eat Well. The card takes about 10-25 days to arrive in the mail. Follow the instructions that come with the card to activate the card by phone or online. Once the card is activated, you will have access to $100 per month for up to 12 months.
Use your card to buy fresh, frozen, and canned fruits, vegetables, and beans with no added salts, sugars, or fats.
Participating Eat Well stores include Food Lion, Walmart, Harris Teeter, Publix, Instacart, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and Family Dollar. Coming soon: Target and Amazon!
Buy what you want, when you want! You choose the fruits, vegetables, and beans you want to buy. You can spend your funds on multiple trips to the grocery store.

Who is eligible for Eat Well?
Must be a WellCare member.
Where can I shop?
Spend Eat Well at Food Lion, Walmart, Harris Teeter, Publix, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, or Family Dollar, as well as at some independent grocery stores. You can also shop online at Instacart and Walmart. Starting in 2026, your Eat Well card can also be used at Target and Amazon. Note: The Eat Well card cannot be used to pay for fees associated with online ordering or delivery. To redeem Eat Well benefits through online retailers, you will need to enter both an Eat Well card number and a personal credit or debit card as payment methods.
What can I buy?
Your Eat Well card can be used to buy fresh, frozen, or canned fruits, vegetables, and beans without added salt, sugar, or fat.
To see if a specific item is eligible, download the OTC Network app, enter your card number, and scan bar codes at the store.
Do the funds Carry over from month to month?
Unused Eat Well funds do not carry over from month to month.
How long does the program last?
12 months.
